The Driver Management Officer will be responsible for recruiting, screening, training, and managing our team of drivers. The successful candidate will liaise with customers, drivers, and other staff members to ensure the efficient execution of the company's daily operations.

Requirements

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field is preferred
  2. At least 2 years of experience in transportation management, driver management, or a related field
  3. Strong leadership and management skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  6. Familiarity with transportation management software preferred.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Possess a valid driver's license.

The Driver Management Officer is a critical position in WHIP. Successful candidates will have a passion for excellent customer service, and a strong desire to build and maintain a high-performing team of drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit and screen new drivers
  2. Conduct Background Checks on all driver
  3. Develop and implement driver training programs
  4. Add and remove drivers with low rating
  5. Monitor and manage driver performance
  6. Track and report on driver performance metrics
  7.  Ensure driver compliance with company policies and procedures
  8. Investigate and resolve driver complaints
  9. Maintain accurate driver records
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with drivers and customers
  11. Continuously improve driver training and management processes
  12. Other duties as assigned
